Our Farm Stay Story
Our roots
From farm to...
We took the decision to diversify our farm back in 2015, when we needed the farm to begin providing an income for two families.
Our farm is wonderful place, with great views, walks and furthermore we are situated in the heart of East Lothian, which is a perfect get away for a Scottish holiday. For these reasons we decided to welcome members of the public to our farm to allow them to learn about farming and enjoy our tranquil piece of countryside.

Having looked at many different holiday home options we realised that the answer had been staring us in the face this whole time.
For many years we had rented out our grain shed in the winter months to a bus club, who renovated old buses and we realised we could do something a bit different with them! As luck would have it, our talented family member Jason from Jason Baker Design had just moved to Scotland and was looking for somewhere to set up shop.
Once planning had been approved we worked closely with Jason to design and convert our first bus, which opened in 2017. We completed a further bus in 2018, 4 more in 2019 and the final 3 in 2020.

Our values
Off-Grid Buses
We started with a simple idea: transform old buses into places where people could truly rest. No rushing. No noise. Just the countryside and time to breathe.
Sustainability matters
All our electricity for the Eco Buses is supplied by solar power. We've built our stays around what the land gives us, not what it takes.
Family comes first
Dogs, children, grandparents—everyone belongs here. We design experiences that bring people together, not apart.
The Buses
Enjoy camp-fires, starry nights and wood fired hot-tub.
Our aim is to provide you with an unhurried pace and a hearty Scottish welcome!
