The Bus Stop offers a unique holiday stay in recycled, handcrafted buses set on a working farm in the East Lothian countryside, with panoramic views of the Lammermuir Hills.

Our luxury buses are open all year and include central heating, a private kitchen and bathroom, For a more off-grid escape, our eco buses are available from April to October, offering a peaceful, technology-free stay with wood-burning stoves and shared outdoor spaces.

We’re dog-friendly too, so the whole family is welcome.

How it all started

In 2015, we diversified our farm to support two families and share the beauty of East Lothian with visitors. After exploring different holiday accommodation ideas, we realised the answer was right in front of us — our old grain shed. Years of renting it to a bus renovation club inspired what became The Bus Stop.

Sandy greeted us when arriving & we spoke with him a few times throughout our stay - he couldn’t have been more helpful!! The bus & hot tub were 1st class, we would stay again.
