Frequently Asked Questions

Can we bring a dog?

We are happy to have dogs to stay at The Bus Stop and there is no extra charge. We are sure you will have a great time exploring our farm! We do ask that you keep your dog off of the furniture, beds and blankets. We unfortunately get a lot of bedding ruined by muddy paws! Therefore if your dog has a tendency to jump up, we would ask you to find other arrangements for your dog during your stay.

What are the booking conditions/cancellation policy?

If you are to cancel your booking with more than 1 months notice we will be happy to refund all payments or reschedule your booking.

If the cancellation is less than 1 month before your stay, we will advertise the dates and if we are able to get a new booking then we'd be happy to refund or reschedule your booking. If we are unable to re-fill your dates then we will not refund the deposit paid as compensation for the loss in revenue for our business.

Do you offer one night stays?

We have a two night minimum policy. Each bus comes with a wood fired hot tub, which is emptied, cleaned and re-filled between each guest. This takes a number of hours and uses a large amount of water. We want our guests to make the most of our accommodation and surrounding area and feel a two night minimum is required for this.

How do the hot tubs work?

We keep our hot tub use as environmentally friendly as possible. We do not use chemicals, such as chlorine, but rather a natural disinfectant to clean the hot tubs between guests. The tubs are emptied between each guest and prepared for your arrival, with the water being reused across the farm. The hot tubs are heated with logs, which are locally sourced and dried on-site. We will have the hot tubs heated for your arrival and advise on how to heat them yourselves during your stay.

Do you allow parties?

We strive to offer peaceful, family friendly accommodation and therefore do not allow parties and request that noise is kept to a minimum past  9 p.m.

Which site/bus is best for me?

Our luxury buses offer all the comforts of a cosy apartment, with central heating, en-suite bathrooms and private kitchens. So if you're looking for a unique stay with some extra comforts this is the site for you.

Our Eco buses offer a wholesome glamping experience! Situated on a site away from roads and houses we have created a beautiful off grid location, with lots of space for exploring and getting back to nature! The buses here still have the main characteristics of a bus, which is an instant hit with children! Our experience has shown that this site is the preferred option of families with young children.

Do you offer discounted stays?

We don’t do discounts, but instead have a policy of keeping our prices the same year round. This means that every guest gets the same price for the same product. We believe this is the fairest way for everyone and ensures guests know they couldn’t have got a better deal.

This includes keeping our prices the same throughout school holidays/public holidays to ensure public workers are not negatively affected.

Is there a booking reserve list?

We do not operate a reserve list, but instead keep the calendars on our website updated and have a first come approach to bookings.

We have always been very flexible with our guests and therefore we would be delighted to take a booking for you in the future and if a date was to become available sooner, there would be no problem switching the dates. We are very lucky to have some very loyal guests who are happy to book in a year in advance and the popular dates do book up quickly.
